In 3 months, I scaled a Meta ads account for an ecommerce brand from profitably spending just over $100, to +$5000 a day. Here is how:
1. My 4-campaign Account Strategy
I used these 4 types of campaigns to target customers in each stage of their buying journey:
Scaling Campaigns → Home to the "Winner Ads"
These are Advantage+ Shopping campaigns; the best-performing creatives get duplicated here every 2 weeks.
Prospecting Campaigns → Attract new buyers
These are CBO campaigns with broad, interest, and single-interest ad sets.
Quickly grab attention with hooks, open strong with emotion (pain, gain, curiosity), and drive interest to get the first click.
Retargeting Campaigns
Hit last 7 days engagers, last 30 days visitors, and last 180 days Add to Carts.
Show upsells, cross-sells, social proof, objection handling, personalized products, and special offers.
Retention Campaigns
Show some love to past buyers
Show new products, evergreen content, and personalized offers
2. I scaled winning ads from CBO campaigns based on Spend × ROAS
High Spend + Good ROAS → Winner ad
Duplicate into a scaling Adv+ Shopping campaign
Low Spend + Good ROAS → Efficient but unscalable
Keep live but don't push spend
High Spend + Bad ROAS → Waste of budget
Pause immediately
3. I gave Meta the highest quality customer data
On top of setting up the Pixel and CAPI, I provided complete customer data by connecting the clients’ CRM, Klaviyo, with Meta.
This lets Meta recognize buyers, engagers, and high-value audiences
Stronger data signals = smarter targeting and better optimization
Note: Meta is changing Adv+ Shopping to Adv+ Sales, already live in some accounts.
These three tips will help you scale your Meta ads massively. If you're looking to hand off your ad management to an expert, simply send me a text, and we'll set up a free consultation call to explore how we can grow your business together.
